Burgies! Best coffee in Ames. So glad there's a north Ames location now so I don't have to haul my lazy ass 12 minutes away to the other location (woooo!). Most coffee shops have sub-par food option but this place is the exception -- if Burgies' Avocado Smash was a person I'd want them to be President
I love Burgies & the staff and the local vibe at each one of their locations (coffee truck included) but they really upped the ~aesthetic~ on this one. Got to go early for a soft opening (today!!) because my fiancé works for Mary Greeley & that just shows how well they treat their local hospital employees...
Great service, great coffee and good breakfast. Best black coffee in Ames by far. Staff is always friendly and patient. Drive through is fast and orderly. My one problem is the interior, it could use some more decorations and more seating. Indoor seating is limited, but you should be fine as long as you aren't there between 10 and 11.
My wife and I had lunch here right when it opened. It was very busy and everyone looked stressed. However, being busy and stressed must be a good thing because our food and drinks came out quick and everyone on staff was so friendly and courteous. We will definitely go back again and again. Great place!!!
A little shy on atmosphere, but the coffee is great! The employees are polite, friendly, and on point. Convenient location. Prices are in-line with other coffee shops in Ames. It is always very clean - a huge plus with me.
